How We Ship
We have a couple of shipping options available to meet your needs!
Free Curbside Pick Up - this option is for our local customer base to shop with us and have a quick, free pick up option.
Standard Shipping - your parcel will ship via Canpar or Canada Post. We aim to pack and ship next day, however due to life, there are exceptions to this. Standard shipping is a flat rate of $16.99 for shipping in Ontario. Shipping to the other nine provinces is $19.99 (flat rate) and shipping to the three territories is $24.99. Our rates have gone up in 2023, as the price of diesel continues to soar, driving our rates upwards, too.
FREE SHIPPING - orders of $200 or more automatically qualify for free shipping!
We never ship without tracking (no lettermail).
Shipping Details
Our flat rate covers everything associated with packing and transporting your goods to you. The size of the package, or value do not determine the cost of shipping. Essentially, whether you order two metres of fabric, or 10, the amount of person-power, fuel and time involved in taking your order from our home to yours, is exactly the same! Please note we may choose not to ship orders less than $35 in total (before tax and shipping).
Units and Increments online
Please note that we sell fabric in 1/2 metre increments on this site. Therefore, if you would like to purchase one metre of fabric, you need to have “2” units in the cart. 1 1/2 metres would be “3” units in the cart. 2 metres would be “4” in the cart, and so on. We do this to provide you with more variety when you shop. Please note that all fabrics (unless otherwise noted on the listing) are 100% cotton and 44” wide. All of our inventory is quilt shop quality fabrics from the highest quality of cotton.
NOTE: we do sell in full metre increments on our Fabric Clearance Page to enable better pricing. And sizing is listed for each specific piece on our Bolt Ends & Remnants Page.
Return & Return Policy
Cut fabrics, batting, patterns, books, sale or clearance items, and shipping fees are non-refundable. We specially cut fabrics and batting to fulfill your orders.
Items that qualify for a return or refund must be new, unused, in original packaging, and must be returned to the store* within 30 days of purchase with a copy of the original receipt.
*any shipping fees incurred to return an item to the store are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Why Pre-Order Fabric?
Most quilting fabric collections have very limited printings. When they are gone, they are gone for good! By pre-ordering with us:
• You'll get the fabric you love, instead of regretting it got away!
• You'll be guaranteed to receive it as soon as it's released.
Do I pay up front?
Yes. We order your fabric up front, specifically for you, to make sure we can reserve it for you. Unlike other shops, we don't charge you a reservation fee
Shipping of Pre-Orders:
If you place an order with items scheduled to ship at separate times (ie. some in-stock goods and some pre-ordered goods or pre-orders that ship at different times) you will be contacted to arrange extra shipping fees when the secondary part of your order arrives.
Can I Cancel my Pre-Order?
Yes, you can get a refund of 100% of canceled goods in the form of shop credit. We order your fabric up front to make sure we can reserve it for you. Unlike other shops, we don't charge you a reservation fee. Please keep in mind: If you cancel, we might never have it again, and someone else may buy it right away. We carry limited stock on all popular collections. Be 100% sure you no longer want it!
Why is my Fabric Late?
Occasionally, due to the popularity of a collection or due to manufacturer and distributor delays, we receive collections later than anticipated. All expected delivery times are approximate. We strive to get all collections when they are due to come out, but sometimes there may be delays beyond our control.
